Designed using a STEAM based, hands-on curriculum, and activities will center on creative thinking, real objects and real world concepts. Camp CMA is packed with scientific investigation, experiments, crafts, educational games, art, and time to explore our hands-on interactive exhibits.

How do detectives solve mysteries? What clues do they look for and how do they use these clues? We will explore fingerprints and handwriting and the power of observation. We will become detectives and solve mysteries around the museum. We will also become spies and create mysteries to be solved!

What substances can be mixed together to form reactions? Can we build the Eiffel Tower with recycled materials? How can we determine the volume of different shapes? Can we create art using these shapes? These and other questions will be answered during an exciting week of STEAM!!

What would we find in the depths ocean? If we traveled to the earth’s core, what would we see? How could we survive in the freezing temperatures of Antarctica? What would you discover on a safari? Let’s get together and discover the beautiful earth we live on during this week of exploring!

Camps are filled on a first come, first served basis with limited availability of 15 campers per session. (Minimum of eight campers)
Small Groups : Our small staff to student ratio allows for personal instruction. Our campers benefit as a close-knit team of learners, allowing for advanced activities unique to the CMA.
- All-day Options : We offer the convenience of optional morning and afternoon extended care. Full day sessions run from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
Morning/Afternoon Extended Care :Extended care is available from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM and from 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM. Campers must be picked-up by 5:15 PM. Advance registration is required for morning extended care. Extended care is available for an additional charge of $10 per child, per session, per day. Charges will be applied to the credit card on file on the last day of camp. If you would like to pay using a different payment method, please notify the museum no later than 4:30 PM on the last day of camp.
- Experienced Educators : Our camp staff are trained museum educators who understand how to engage kids in out-of-school environments. Our educators bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to share with campers and go through a thorough background check, and interview process.
- Campers must provide their own lunch. Refrigeration is available on site. CMA will provide “light” morning and afternoon snacks. Water provided and available at all times.
