Field Trips
Would you like to go on an educational excursion?
Each year, the Children’s Museum of Acadiana works hard to present exciting field trip experiences to students and teachers across the more than 37 parishes it serves! Field Trips are available Tuesday through Friday. Please review the information below and fill out a field trip request form if you would like to book a field trip. We ask that all field trip requests be submitted at least two weeks before your desired date. An 8:1 student chaperon ratio is required.
Exploration Expedition
1.5-2 hours, K-3rd Grade
Our original hands-on field trip is designed to inspire curiosity, spark imagination, and nurture discovery! Self-guided learning through a child-sized world! 90-minute or 2-hour experience available.
100th Day Celebration!
1.5 hours, Pre-k to 1st Grade
Hooray for 100 DAYS! This special day is all about learning, fun, and commemorating a significant milestone in our academic journey. Get ready for an adventure that blends knowledge, excitement, and celebration in a way that’ll leave lasting memories for years to come!
MoneyWise: Earn. Spend. Save.

2 hours, 3rd – 4th Grade
Earn. Spend. Save. Our popular Moneywise field trip is designed to empower students with essential financial knowledge and skills. Students will journey through the finance world, helping them understand the importance of financial literacy and responsible money management.
STEAMOLOGY
2 hours, 3rd – 5th Grade
FULL STEAM AHEAD: Our STEAMOLOGY field trip is an immersive journey into the fascinating world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM)! This interactive and hands-on experience is designed to ignite the spark of learning, inspire curiosity, and foster a deep appreciation for STEAM subjects.
CMA ON THE GO!
K-3rd Grade
The “CMA On-the-Go” team brings the wonders of the museum directly to your school! This unique field trip is designed to ignite curiosity, inspire creativity, and provide students with an engaging and educational encounter with art, culture, and STEAM.
