Welcome!
Welcome to the CMA Membership Family! With your Membership, your family can now play for an entire year.
The Children’s Museum of Acadiana exists to foster a creative environment through “hands-on” exhibits and programs, where children and their families explore and make discoveries that de-mystify everyday experiences, cultures, and human differences. As a first museum experience, we want to enhance the lives of children of all socioeconomic backgrounds and provide an environment of self-expression and achieve self-esteem while learning respect for others. In addition, we strive to develop a future generation of museum attendees by initiating and encouraging a life-long love of museum experiences as an integral part of a child’s educational process.
Please look at the following sections for important information about your Membership.
Museum Admission
As a Museum Member, you receive complimentary admission into the Children’s Museum of Acadiana (CMA) during all regular operating hours. In addition, Explore + level members will receive discounted access to select special events, including New Year’s Noon, Spooktacular, and Twinkle Light Night. Membership admission privileges, such as birthday parties and field trips, cannot be used for group visits.
Each Membership admits a set number of people. In all cases, you count as one of the guests. For example, someone holding an Explore + Membership may bring themselves and a party of three other people over the age of one to the Museum (children under one are admitted free). You can bring your children, friends, niece, nephew, or anyone you love! Free admission applies only to a set number of people per visit. If you are unsure how many entries you receive per visit, please don’t hesitate to contact the Museum.
One named adult member must be present at all times. Two named adults are included with each Membership. When you arrive at the Museum, present your membership card and a photo ID to the Front Desk.
Memberships are nontransferable and nonrefundable.
