Spooktacular Halloween Parties

Get ready for a night of thrills and chills at the Children’s Museum of Acadiana Spooktacular Halloween Parties on October 25 and 26 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM! This fun-filled event will feature Mitch the Magician, dazzling everyone with his magical illusions, and Safari Station, bringing the wild to life with fascinating animals. Little ones can meet a real-life princess, join a costume parade, and participate in spooky experiments that will bubble and fizz. Plus, there will be tons of candyface paintingcrafts, and games to keep everyone entertained throughout the evening!

Make sure to wear your best costume and bring your Halloween spirit for a night of unforgettable fun. Tickets are $12 per person, with members enjoying half-off, and children 12 months and under enter for free. Tickets are limited each night, so grab yours before they vanish into the night. It’s going to be an enjoyable time for the whole family!

When are the Spooktacular Halloween Parties?
The parties will be held on October 25 and 26 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

How much are tickets?
Tickets are $12 per person. Members receive 50% off, and children 12 months and under are free.

When do tickets go on sale?
Tickets will go on sale on October 1 at noon. Tickets are limited, so we recommend purchasing early!

Where can I purchase tickets?
You can purchase tickets online through the Children’s Museum website or at the museum.

Do I need to purchase tickets in advance?
Yes, we strongly encourage purchasing tickets in advance, as tickets are limited each night and may sell out quickly.

Is there an age limit for the event?
This event is fun for all ages! Activities are designed for kids, but the whole family is welcome to attend.

Do we need to wear costumes?
Costumes are encouraged but not required. We will have a costume parade, so dress up and join the fun!

What activities will be available?
The event will feature Mitch the Magician, Safari Station, a princess, a costume parade, spooky experiments, face painting, crafts, games, and of course, tons of candy!

Will there be food and drinks available?
Concessions will not be sold during the event, but families are welcome to bring small snacks for their children. No food or drinks will be allowed in exhibit areas.

What should we bring to the event?
Bring your printed or digital ticket, wear your Halloween costume, and bring your Halloween spirit! Bags for candy will be provided.

Is parking available?
Yes, free parking is available at the Children’s Museum; CMA parking is limited, and additional parking is available in the Vermillion Street parking tower. 

Are strollers allowed inside the event?
Strollers are welcome, but please be mindful of crowded areas to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience.
