New Years Noon

New Year’s Noon Carnival Countdown is a celebration designed specifically for children to ring in the New Year. The Children’s Museum of Acadiana is the one and only place in Acadiana where a family can ring in the New Year at 12 NOON in a blizzard of confetti or a downpour of balloons. Festivities begin at 10:00 am with old-fashioned carnival games located in the CMA parking lot as well as open play in all museum exhibits. Hats and noise makers are provided for children and at the stroke of 12 NOON the celebration commences in a sea of confetti and balloons. Thanks to Party Central, Trinity Rental, and Home Bank providing tents for our carnival grounds, we celebrate RAIN OR SHINE!
