Saturday, March 23, 2019 10:30 am – 12:30 pm $18 (badge is included)
How does your garden grow? Learn about gardens from an expert gardener. Topics include visiting Lafayette’s public space Victory Garden to explore a well-cared-for garden. Learn about different types of gardens (including hydroponics) and garden design. Find out which plant zone we live in, what type of soil is best in the garden, and the importance of sunlight and water. Watch the seed germination process and plant your own seeds to take home. Use your new skills to plant flowers at the CMA!
Note: Part of this program will be at the CMA, as well as, at the Victory Gardens. Weather permitting, 3 blocks to the Victory Garden
