Technician's Licensing Course

Children's Museum of Acadiana and Acadiana Amateur Radio AssociationHAM RADIO COURSERECIEVE A TECHNICIAN'S LICENSEAn eight week course (1 night orientation, 6 classes, 1 test night) will be taught be licensed amateur radio operators from the Acadiana Amateur Radio Association (AARA). This course offers instruction and practice designed to enable individuals to earn a Technician-level license in ham radio. Parents and children are welcome to enroll and earn their technician's license together.
WHEN: This course will be held on the following dates:
THURSDAYS
JANUARY 14, 21, 28
FEBRUARY 4, 11, 25
MARCH 4, 11
WHERE: Children's Museum of Acadiana in downtown Lafayette
WHO: Individuals 10 years of age and older
TOTAL COST: $44.00: Breakdown of fees as follows: $5.00 course fee, students will need to purchase a $25.00 manual and pay a $14.00 fee for testing and license. Payment will be due the first night of class.
