Art of ReUSE at the Acadiana Center for the Arts
Last summer the Children's Museum of Acadiana invited artists to create and donate art incorporating reused or salvaged materials, to be shown and sold to benefit the CMA.  Their creations now form the body of the exhibit, The Art of Re-Use:  Works from the Bizzuka Reuseum Artist Collective.  Artists such as Mary Attwood, Lisa Ayres, Vergie Banks, John Bienvenu, Fred Daspit, Troy Dugas, Adrian Fulton, Amy Guidry, Louise Guidry, Hope Hebert, James Hebert, JoJo Jilbert, Cindy Killgore, Donald LeBlanc, Joyce Linde, Mary Morgan, John Palmer, William Parr, Diane Pecnik, Mary Perrin, Ange Riehl, Paul Schexnayder, 

Daren Sylvester,  Dickie Wagner, Bhi C. Wooley, and many others, have contributed painting, drawing, collage, sculpture, photography, jewelry, fiber art, ceramics, metal work, glass work, altered books, and other media, forming a creative, innovative, beautiful, and surprising collection.  The Art of Re-Use, on display in the Side Gallery of The Acadiana Center for the Arts June 13 - July 3, opens June 13, 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., during the Second Saturday Artwalk.  Works 

of The Art of Re-Use exhibit are being sold to benefit the arts and education programs of the Children's Museum of Acadiana.  For more information contact Jo Ellen Breakfield at visit, or
